      • No parent should be in the bathroom with a child who is not their own

  • Immunizations:

    • Children must be fully immunized and up to date to attend school.  No personal belief exemptions are accepted any longer only medical exemptions with a doctor’s signature will be accepted.

    • Any volunteer in the classroom must be immunized for Measles and Pertussis before you can work in the classroom.  You must also have a TB test, sign the declaration that you are of good health and complete the Megan’s Law form.  You may sign the waiver to opt out of the flu vaccine. 

  • Working in the classroom

    • Past PALS watch out for new PALS families…. help them where you can.  Old will be scheduled alongside new.

    • Working parents should not participate in carpools. Only bring your child that day

  • Lunch/Allergies

    • You will provide lunch for the entire class approx. 5 times a year

    • Lunch should be nutritious and try to include all the food groups

    • Please provide food choices and keep your items separate 

    • Your lunch trays for the most part should be set up by 9:45 when the children arrive.  You have a cheat sheet to follow!

    • If we have an allergy, that food may not be served in the class which the allergy presides. 

    • If we have a sevear allergy, it may not be served in either the junior or senior class.

    • You may bring any table décor for your child’s birthday or any Pals holiday, along with a SMALL treat

    • Pizza is allowed for birthday lunch only

  • Child of the Day – When you are lunch parent!

  • Holidays

    • PALS celebrates all holidays, including Valentine’s Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, Easter, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Hanukkah. 

  • President and Vice President

  • Let Ms. Andrea keep her focus on the children. Go to her for anything pertaining to the classroom or curriculum.

  • Refer to the PALS Organizational Chart to help you refer to the EB member that can assist you with your parent job. Contact information for all EB members is listed on the chart. You can also see the name of each parent assigned to each job.

  • Tuition due by the 5th or the general meeting, whichever is later
